I write software and build hardware — and I'm most interested in the seam where the two meet. Computer science student at Ahmedabad University, building embedded systems, robotics, and data-driven tools.

Background

Ahmedabad University · CSE

Most of what I've built solves a problem I could actually see — a robot that wouldn't stay upright, a throw I couldn't measure, a dataset nobody had cleaned.

I'm studying Computer Science and Engineering at Ahmedabad University. The work splits fairly cleanly in two: software and data on one side, embedded electronics on the other. I've kept both going deliberately, because the projects I find most interesting need both.

This summer I've been a research intern at the Institute of Manufacturing & Economy, working on sector-level analysis of India's electrical equipment industry — building the data pipeline as well as writing the analysis.

I also handle digital operations for Padmavati Enterprise, my family's healthcare print business in Naranpura — which is where I learned that shipping something real is a different discipline from building it.

Away from the desk: Ultimate Frisbee and martial arts. The frisbee habit is directly responsible for one of the projects below.

Software & data

Python · JavaScript · Next.js
ime-pipeline

Economic data pipeline, NIC 27

Python · pandas · LaTeX

Ingests and reconciles production, trade and employment data for India's electrical equipment sector across inconsistent government sources. Built during the IME internship to replace manual spreadsheet work — the analysis that came out of it feeds published research.

digital-cards

NFC profile cards

Next.js · Tailwind · NFC

Tap a card or a standee with a phone and it opens a digital profile the owner can edit afterwards. Started as a side idea and turned into a product question — the hard part isn't the NFC, it's making the profile worth updating.

padmavati-web

Padmavati Enterprise

Next.js 14 · Tailwind · Vercel

Production site for the family healthcare print business, built to support expansion beyond Gujarat. Real client, real constraints, real traffic — plus the listings, reviews and verification work that sits behind it.

escape-room

Escape room, in the browser

JavaScript · CSS · state machines

A puzzle-driven web experience with timed challenges and staged reveals. Mostly an excuse to get properly good at animation, state handling and pacing without a framework doing the work.

U1 Featured First place

Self-balancing robot

A two-wheeled robot that holds itself upright using a PID loop reading a gyro and accelerometer. Won first place in the university competition. The controller was the easy half — getting the mechanical build stiff enough that the loop had something stable to correct against took most of the time, and taught me more than the code did.

Arduino, embedded C++
SENSING

U2

Biomechanical throw tracker

A sensor glove that records what your arm actually does during an Ultimate Frisbee throw — orientation, rotation and muscle activation together. Built because I wanted the data and nothing off the shelf gave it to me.

Line follower

The one that came first. An IR sensor array feeding real-time steering correction — simple enough to fully understand, which is exactly what made everything after it possible.

Experience

Summer

Research intern

Institute of Manufacturing & Economy

Sector-level economic research on India's electrical equipment industry under NIC code 27. Built the data pipeline that made the analysis possible, then wrote the analysis — production, trade and employment across Indian manufacturing.

Ongoing

Digital operations

Padmavati Enterprise, Naranpura

Running the digital side of the family healthcare print business — the website, local listings and map presence, review moderation, service verification, and the administrative work underneath it. Practical, unglamorous, and genuinely useful experience in what it takes to keep something live.

Coursework centred on algorithms, data structures and embedded systems. Most of the projects on this page started here, either as coursework I took further or competition entries. First place in the university robotics competition.

Got something
worth building?

I'm open to internships and collaborations, particularly anything sitting between software and hardware. Happy to talk about work that's nowhere near that too.
